Frequently Asked Questions
How long does a round of disc golf take at Ricker Hill?
On average, a group of four players can expect to complete the 18-hole championship layout in about 2 to 2.5 hours. If you are playing solo or in a smaller group, you can easily finish a round in under 1.5 hours.
Can I rent discs at the course, or do I need to bring my own?
You don't need your own gear to play! We offer disc rentals at our pro shop for just $3.00. If you decide you want to keep playing, our shop is fully stocked with a massive selection of premium plastic from top brands like Innova, Discraft, Latitude 64, MVP, and Discmania.
Does the disc golf course play directly through the apple orchards?
No, the course does not go through our apple orchard at all. Instead, you can expect a highly dynamic 18-hole championship layout featuring a scenic mix of tight wooded gaps, dramatic elevation changes, and unique water hazards-including throwing directly over our working cranberry bogs!
Is the disc golf course open year-round?
Yes! We are open daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. While the winter months bring some snow to the fairways, die-hard players are always welcome to suit up, grab some ribbon, and play a winter round.
Can we grab food or drinks at the farm after our round?
Absolutely. In fact, it's highly encouraged. Once you finish hole 18, head right over to our farm store for fresh-baked, hot apple cider donuts, or visit the Hard Cider Tasting Room to grab a cold pint and talk about your scorecard.
